Lancetilla Botanical Garden

This botanical garden was originally an experimental center for tropical plants created by Dr. Wilson Popenoe in 1925. Today, it is the home to more than 1,000 species of the most important collections of exotic plant species in Latin America, especially fruit trees and timber, which give the place a unique landscape.
