Manny Ortiz started to play the game of golf at the age of 3 in a very unusual way. He found a stick (Golf Club) and his parents noticed he loved to hit rocks with this stick. As a pure coincidence his father took up the game the same time through a fellow co-worker. Once Manny was introduced to the game, with this father by his side, the adventure to learn the game of golf began. At the age of 10 he was shooting par at his home course in Iraan, Texas. Winning 15 tournaments in his High School career he then decided to continue pursuing his passion to make golf part of living. Ortiz studied the game of golf and business at the Arizona Golf Academy. During his time there he was able to see the many methods of golf instruction, business management, and game management. He decided that this was his calling and that helping grow the interest in the game would be the focus of his career.
Manny found himself specializing in launching facilities from the ground up, all the while growing the game and the never ending process of learning the game. During this time he took up the hobby of club repair and fitting and has mastered the methods of doing both. With over 15,000 hours of lessons given, his teaching method has diversified to be able to work with absolute beginners to the advanced golfer looking to achieve the dream. "No matter what level you play the game, you will never stop learning," Manny Ortiz
